From the beautiful island of Sicily in the heart of the Mediterranean comes this delicious and seductive red. It’s a personal favourite of ours for midweek drinking – we like to chill it down slightly to enhance its elegant structure. Made from the flagship varietal of the region, Nero d’Avola, it displays an intense ruby colour and perfumed black cherry and wild berry fruit flavours. Lifted, yet with depth on the mid palate, it has a smooth tannic structure and a long lingering finish. A perfect wine for the BBQ.
