La Renjardière Côtes du Rhône
When we asked a French winemaker mate of ours to recommend a fantastic value Rhône brand, this is what he came back with, and we have to say he was bang on. The estate is owned and run by the fifth generation of the Dupond family, who are in the process of gaining organic certification for the vineyards (their Côtes du Rhône- Villages already carries official organic status). They are classic southern Rhône wines with an abundance of fruit and spice – guaranteed crowd pleasers!

This is a great value Côtes du Rhône – bags of red fruit, pepper and a hint of leather and spice, with lovely smooth tannins. Whilst rounded on the palate it is pleasingly medium-bodied and maintains an elegance that leaves you wanting another glass!
