This glorious wine is a true taste of the south of France –  its ‘sunshine in a glass aromas’ are unmistakable to anybody who has spent time in this corner of the world. It is a classic blend of 40% Grenache Blanc and equal parts of Roussanne, Vermentino (known as Rolle in this part of the world) and Viognier – with the four components coming together in brilliant harmony to offer a balance of freshness and generosity. On the nose it impresses with its fine aromas of citrus and white peach, white flowers, and a light mineral note. On the palate it opens out to be full, fresh, and deliciously fruity, with the smoothness of the fruit complementing the remarkable tension of this wine with its notes of fennel, peppermint and citrus.

It is drinking beautifully – we’ve been enjoying a bit of it here at home as it is perfect with richer fish dishes and lighter south-east Asian curries. We have the lucky last cases in the country – snap them up before they disappear.
