2 x Warramunda ‘LivZak’ Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley
Classic Yarra Pinot with gorgeous aromas of wild strawberry, cherry and plenty of perfumed lift. On the palate its earthy, savoury elements come to the fore, mingling with the red fruit and bright acidity, leading to a smooth and lingering finish.
2 x CRFT ‘Wild South’ Mencia, Adelaide Hills
This Spanish varietal has found a very happy home in the Adelaide Hills. It is a fabulous blend of lifted perfumed notes and earthy spice – medium-bodied and smooth on the palate, with plenty of red fruit, herbaceousness and gentle tannins.
2 x Clairault ‘Cellar Release’ Whole Bunch Shiraz, Margaret River
We’ve been guzzling this like it’s going out of fashion over the last couple of months – it is Shiraz made for Queensland! It’s bright, it’s lifted and oh so elegant on the palate once it has that chill. Delicious red fruits, spice and a touch of white pepper and dark chocolate just to remind you there is some Shiraz in there somewhere…
If you don’t have a Vintec, don’t worry – sling them in the fridge for half an hour and bob’s your uncle.
