A sumptuous example of the classic Margaret River red blend. It’s smooth and mouth-filling, offering an abundance of dark berry flavours, mocha notes and a touch of spice, with balanced acidity and lovely soft tannins.
2 x Clairault Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
THE stand-out value at our recent Boutique Aussie tasting, it is an absolutely glorious Cabernet. On the palate it offers up a rich tapestry of berry fruit, interwoven with espresso, dark chocolate, cedary oak and spice. The core is plush with supple tannins and elegant oak, all leading to a round and persistent finish.
2 x Streicker Syrah 2015
Good Golly Miss Molly – if ever a wine was going to change your mind about Margaret River Syrah, it surely has to be this gorgeous, multi award-winning example. Rich dark fruits flavours dominate yet there is still room for the classic cool climate white pepper and all-spice notes, along with hints of liquorice and cinnamon. Toasty oak and fleshy tannins provide the backbone to the wine.
