Colours of the South Pinot Gris
Colours of the South is a label developed in 2019 by the talented team at Purple Hands, inspired by their Southern Barossa ‘Stansborough’ vineyard. The label itself was designed by Adelaide artist Oliver Reutens as an abstract depiction of the vineyard, and truly captures the colours of the landscape of this beautiful part of Australia. This label is home to their less traditional varietals, so encompasses Pinot Gris, Pinot Bianco, Mourvedre and their Rosso, a delightful red blend created from the Italian varietals that grow so well in their part of the Barossa.

This is a deliciously textural Pinot Gris, with typical primary flavours of nashi pear and white flowers. In true Gris style, the acidity is dialled back to be softer and more integrated, yet there is enough zesty lemon on the palate to balance the textural elements. It all makes for a very versatile food wine!
