The Hunter Valley is world-renowned for the quality of its Semillons, and this one certainly doesn’t let the side down! In its youth this delicious wine offers exuberant, zesty lemon and lime notes on the nose, which carry through to the palate, leading to a refreshingly light and crisp finish that cries out for shellfish. Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Hunter Semillon if it wasn’t built to age, so you can confidently leave this one for up to another 5 years to enjoy it as it softens to reveal a richer, lemon meringue creaminess on the palate.
