Mocandunda Single Vineyard Fiano
The Mocandunda vineyard supplies fruit for many of the region’s most renowned wines, and retains only a small quantity for their own label. The brand is owned by three legends of the industry in South Australia, including viticulturalist Rodger Ackland, who not only founded Mount Horrocks in the 1980s but has planted many (if not most) of the vineyards in Clare.

This delicious varietal seems to have found a natural home in the Clare Valley – with the region winning more awards for their Fianos than any other in Australia. This is an elegant Fiano with lifted stone fruit, a touch of nuttiness and spice, and a crisp line of acidity. It makes an ideal alternative for anyone who enjoys a Chardonnay or fuller flavoured white.
