The Spanish region of Rias Baixas lies directly above Portugal in the north west corner of the country, and is an area often overlooked by international tourists unless they happen to be doing the famous Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage. It is one of our absolute favourite parts of Spain with its stunning, dramatic beaches (with the cool, fresh waters of the Atlantic), beautiful old towns and the most phenomenal seafood.
