Reyes de Aragon Cava Brut Reserva ‘El Casto’
The exceptional Reyes de Aragon Cava range are made by the prestigious Bodegas Langa in the heart of the Sierra Vicor. Hailing from Calatayud rather than Penedes (where Cava is traditionally produced) allows them to experiment, and they tend to use a significant proportion of Chardonnay in their blend as opposed to the usual Xarel-lo and Parellada, leading to a higher quality.

This wine has more in common with Champagne in terms of weight and flavour profile than your traditional Cava, and we believe it offers outstanding value. Straw in colour with a fine mousse – the nose offers an expressive bouquet of tropical fruit and toasty brioche. On the palate flavours of honey and nuts come through alongside the fruit, all tempered with fine bubbles and a delicate acidity that give it a delightful sensation in the mouth. If this doesn’t convince you of the quality of Spanish sparkling we don’t know what will!
