Soul Growers Provident Shiraz
We’ve known Paul Heinicke for nearly 20 years, only a couple of years shy of the year Soul Growers was established in 1998. This is a brand whose roots run deep into the Barossa, as evidenced by the name and the logo which symbolises the history of the vineyards, the importance of growers and the handing down of knowledge from generation to generation. Paul’s respect for the land and the experience of those who have come before is matched by Stuey Bourne, one of the Barossa’s most renowned winemakers, whose own connection with the region’s most important growers is unparalleled. Their aim is to capture the spirit of the region and create a fitting tribute to their growers, the ‘soul’ of the Barossa.
It has been an absolute pleasure to have been associated with Soul Growers for many years and to have helped in establishing a great following for their traditionally-crafted wines here in QLD.
$30.00
Dark purple, black hues with dark berry fruit that carry onto the nose, along with subtle spicy oak. The palate has soft, upfront notes of plums and blackcurrant with soft oak and balanced tannins. The finish is soft and long. A quintessential Barossa Shiraz that displays elegance, finesse, firm structure and a wonderful depth of flavour.
