We are hosting this exclusive lunch to present QLD’s very first look at Torbreck’s brand new flagship, The Forebear. The inaugural 2019 vintage is the culmination of over 10 years of work restoring 12 rows of treasured old-vine Shiraz planted in around 1850 by Samuel Springbrett  & Sons – these are Torbreck’s oldest collection of vines from any single plot. Its name honours the pioneering spirit of migrant families in establishing the Barossa as one of the great winegrowing regions of the world.

Here’s the thing – only 1200 bottles were made – we’ll be opening two of them for lunch (along with The 2019 Laird and a selection of other treats from the Torbreck stable), and will have less than a handful to sell – only to those attending the lunch, of course! To mark the occasion in true style we’ve asked Javier to bust out the Tomahawks – it’s going to be quite a lunch. Only 15 tickets available – book now to avoid disappointment.
