Warramunda Estate Pinot Noir
Warramunda Estate is located in the very prestigious Coldstream district of the Yarra Valley – originally known as Warramunda Station it operated as a sheep and cattle stud until the late 1990s, when its incredible potential as a vineyard site was recognised. Owned by the Magdziarz family – veterans of the Melbourne hospitality scene, the estate is now producing exceptional wines at some very reasonable prices compared to its neighbours.

This is simply stunning Yarra Valley Pinot – the flagship wine of this wonderful estate. As the winemaker puts it, the wine is dynamically fragrant (that’s wine speak for having a subtle array of different aromas and flavours every time you taste it) with an evolving dominance of purple flowers and a herbal twist. The palate has a juicy, flavoursome core of well-defined red fruits & black forest on a bed of dark cacao & savory spice framed by fine and silky tannins.
